Pull Tabs

Each year RMHC Wichita sponsors a state wide Pull Tab Program. We collect the metal piece located on the top of a soda can. These pieces are known as pop tabs or pull tabs. This activity not only helps save the earth but it also raises much-needed awareness about how one individual’s contribution can make a substantial difference for a family staying at one of our Ronald McDonald Houses or using our Ronald McDonald Family Room. Collecting pull tabs is fun and easy. It is also a great way for children, families, schools and companies to get involved!

Pull Tabs in the Heartland School Contest Registration

The results are in and the 2014 Pull Tab Collection Contest winner is Haysville Middle School from Haysville, KS collecting over six pounds per student who participated!

The school that brought in the most amount of pull tabs was Maize Central Elementary from Maize. They brought 408 pounds of pull tabs to Pull Tab Collection Day!

Congratulations to these top schools and to the other schools for making a difference for children in need.
